My passion for baking and the wish to create a place for genuine encounters — that's how Mel's Cakes became reality.
How it all began
It's quite simple: I love it when people forget everything around them over a slice of homemade cake. What began as a passion in my own kitchen became reality in 2022 after I trained as a pastry chef. Today my café with its own bakery in Vienna's 6th district is a dream come true — a place where the door is open to everyone.
For me, baking is more than a craft; it's my way of bringing people together. Whether I create a personal custom cake for you or we stand side by side at the mixing bowl in one of my baking courses — a generous portion of love and joy always goes into the batter.
